We all encounter data every day. If you use your credit card you are submitting data to someone. As you browse the web you are submitting and viewing data. Looking at your finances? Checking your credit score? You are using data.

Some of us like to use this data more than others. I use a lot of data for my job, but I also use it for my personal life. My intention for this site is to discuss different ways we use data and the interesting things we can do with it. Some things will be simple that anyone can use while others will cover more complex data concepts such as data mining and business intelligence.
